Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Nova Admissions LLC ("Nova", "we") collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email us at contact@novaadmissions.com.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you fill out one of our forms or email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to tell us. For families, that usually includes where the student lives and studies, the program you are interested in, and the student's grade, goals and schools. For partner organizations, it includes your organization's name, type and country, and what you tell us about the students you work with.
- Information shared while we work together. If you become a client, we receive the materials needed to guide the student, such as essays, activity lists, grades, test scores, course choices and university lists. If your organization becomes a partner, we receive the contact and business details needed to run the partnership.
- Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and arrange a consultation or call.
- To provide the programs and services you ask us for.
- To set up and manage partnerships with agencies, schools and education firms.
- To keep records of our work together and meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Students under 18
Many of the students we work with are under 18. We expect a parent or guardian to be involved when a minor contacts us or becomes a client, and we only use a student's information to guide their education and applications. A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to access or delete information about their child.
Who we share it with
We only share information with services that help us run Nova, and only as far as they need it to do their job:
- Formspree, which receives messages sent through our website forms and forwards them to us.
- Google Workspace, which provides our email, calendar and documents.
- Our web hosting provider, which stores this website.
- Google Fonts, which serves the fonts on this website and may see your IP address when a page loads.
Members of the Nova team, including our advisors and our team in Beijing, see a student's information only when they are working with that student. If a student was introduced to Nova by a partner agency or school, we may share information about the student's program with that partner, as agreed with the family. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up. We keep client and partner records for the length of our work together and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing contact@novaadmissions.com. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to or restrict how we use your information, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
We work with families and partners in several countries, and the services we use may store information in the United States or elsewhere. By contacting us, you understand that your information may be processed outside your home country.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
